When you upload music, Clippra first determines the tempo and the position of the hits in the track, where each beat sits and how fast they follow each other. That grid is what the cuts align to.

The edit points between clips are then placed on those hits, instead of stringing clips together at arbitrary intervals. The effect: the picture changes in the same moment the ear hears the hit. That double impulse on eye and ear is what makes a reel feel tight, even with simple phone footage. It is a different mechanism from tools that only animate captions to the rhythm while the picture edit runs independently.
