No. clippra is built for that workflow: upload footage, pick mood and style, and AI delivers a reel you can post as it is. No complex software, no tutorials, no empty timeline to fear.
Ready-made effects for your clips, cut to the beat of your music: Punchline, Quote Beat, Calm Quote, Transitions, Pop and Car Edit. You pick one, add your own line if the effect has one, and Clippra places your clips in that pattern. There is no first cut to rearrange; before you start, Clippra only checks that your clips and music are enough. Car Edit cuts hard on the beat (every beat, or every second beat on fast tracks), with a punchy look and no text; when a clip shows the car clearly, it pops in early with a white outline. Effect reels run about 9 to 12 seconds. An effect reel always needs music. On the Free plan, one effect reel is free on top of your free reel, with a watermark.
Usually about 2–5 minutes. It depends on length, number of clips, and complexity. Shorter clips finish faster; long travel videos may take a bit longer. You’ll get feedback in the product when it’s ready.

CapCut and Premiere are editors: you do the work, they give you tools, and CapCut now adds automations like Auto Cut for a first pass. Runway and friends generate artificial clips from prompts. clippra does a third thing: it takes your real footage and edits it automatically: the AI picks the strongest moments and cuts them to the beat. You see the AI's pick in a free preview on the Free plan too; the beat cut (Energy, Cinematic) comes after your first free reel from Starter or with the Trip Pass. No. Clippra doesn't train AI models on your footage. Your clips are processed solely to analyze and edit your own project, and they're automatically deleted after the retention period.
